Anyone who lives in America, and has access to television, cannot miss knowing about the American Express credit card. In almost ever channel, I have seen ad of an American Express credit card. The most memorable part of the ad of American Express credit card is its punch, “Don't leave home without it”.

Mainly because of this punch line I logged on the website of American Express, and submitted my first application for the credit card. After a few days of the submission of an application, I received my first American Express credit card.

The best part of the American Express credit cards is that it covers the maximum area, and is accepted all over the world.  For another, it comes with an incredible balance transfer facility which means I could transfer the debt from some of the other, not so popular credit cards, to it. All because of the great features, I have applied for these credit cards for my wife, and for my colleges, too.

Since I am a frequent user of the American Express credit card, and I have the habit of paying my debts on time, I have received many gifts, vouchers, coupons, and even cash back. I have also got the freedom of paying the bills of my pizzas, gym, and many more. There are many more things that I got from my American Express credit card like extra grace period, free meals at restaurants, and attractive discounts on all the popular brands of clothes.

But within a year, I had enough of the American express credit card, and was ready to give it up. The advertisements on the television continued though, and I am sure, kept inducing even more people to sign up for the American express credit card.
