One of the best moments of my life was when I got a new, high profile job. The job was everything that I ever wanted. It was in the industry that I loved, it was a senior position with a great deal of responsibility. More importantly, it paid me well enough to lead a good life. My job includes making financial decisions for my company, and also requires lot of traveling.

Soon, I got a business credit card from my company. After using the credit card, I realized that this is really a good thing. With the help of the credit card, I got freedom from carrying cash. My company had a policy under which every senior executive has to get a credit card. All the records of my business credit card transactions are kept by the accounting department of the company.

Earlier, when the concept of business credit cards was not there, the accounts department of my company had to work very hard. They needed to make all the details of the money spent on the employees. So, the idea of the business credit card was very effective.

For one thing, we no longer needed to ask for large amounts of cash to be carried with us on local and overseas trips. We could use the business credit card for nearly everything. Airfares, hotel rooms, and lunches could be paid for by the business credit card.

We could also make payments for even smaller purchases. The best part of these cards was that the accounts department did not need to make all the cash books, as they got all the receipts of the spending of the senior executives. 

The business card was issued on my name. I have got many rewards, and also free gifts. The points that I earned on my business credit cards, were used by me as discount coupons in many places such as restaurants. While these perks of a business credit card might not sound like much, these were the little things that gave me a lot of joy, and of course, power.
